Rear View mirror

Hi I've a 2006 AM Vantage V8 and the rear view mirror has deteriorated - the glass itself.

Anyone either bought a replacement, repaired it (and how) yourself or a company, or swapped it out for another model or car?

I don't suppose it 's another Ford part is it.... :-)

Volvo I think Geoff. Do a Google search on Vantage Volvo mirror.

It's a Volvo item but also, if you have the none dimming version you can buy the auto dimming version safe in the knowledge the wiring for the auto dim version sits in the area where your mirror mounts.

I did the same thing recently, I bought mine from AstonBits, probably paid over the odds but it's an easy retro fit and upgrade.

Thanks everyone. I've got he standard physical flip switch, but if I know the wiring loom is in the roof then I'll follow that up :-)

its actually a peugeot part.... replaced mine a couple of years ago - about £30
