2014 V8VS (SP-10) rear brake discs

Last year, at annual service time, at my AM dealer, their Vehicle Health Check report warned me my rear brake discs were below minimum thickness.
They said my discs should be 32mm when new, and require replacement when they fall below 30mm.
They measured mine at 27.2mm N/S and 27.3mm O/S - hence wanted to replace them, at not inconsiderable cost.
This got me thinking something didn't seem right, since the car had only done around 3000 miles since the previous service, when everything got the green light, no mention of brake discs at all.
Told them I'd think about it and get back to them. Did a bit of googling, and from what I can tell, the rear discs are Brembo P/N 09.8781.21 (330mm diameter) and these actually have a thickness of 28mm when new, and should be replaced when they are below 26mm. So mine still have plenty life in them.
I emailed this back to the main dealer to ask if a simple mistake had been made, maybe they got their models mixed up or something. Gave them the benefit of the doubt. Sadly, I didn't get a reply.
Fast forward to now, and it is annual service time again.
Can anyone confirm I am correct with the above info so I have some ammo if theytry to fleece me make the same mistake again?

I once took a car in for an annual service. I replaced the pads the month prior. And low and behold apparently they needed replacing. What a surprise!
It was quickly put down as an error by the service department when I pulled them up on it … Ofcourse.
They work in the grey. They rely on you taking them by their word and not researching anything.

Just been out and measured (as best I can with the wheels on).
Best guess is 28.0 mm thickness at the outer rim. I can feel a slight ridge where the pads haven't worn right out to the rim so I would go with your figures

Yes the originals, & I haven't been too gentle with them
All in all pretty good over the 14 years I've had the car
Second clutch going in now
Two batteries
One fuel pump
Brake pipes replaced
New shocks
Subframe refurb being done now.
Not bad for 75,000 miles and will drive like new when it comes back from DAE.
