I must give a big thankyou to Aston Martin Lagonda and in particular 2 people. James Harris from Aston Martin "The Gold Coast" and Timothy Unsell from AML Singapore who put my case forward.
I have a my 2015 Vanquish and had a problem with my Carbon Fibre roof, it was yellowing and there were a couple of areas that were showing signs of bubbling or separating clear coat from the carbon roof.
The car had only done 27000klm and was garaged all its life.
I sent photos to ECPS Group in Poland and Michal who is the CF expert made a few comments re the lack of UV retardant and a few anomolies that pointed to a couple of manufacturing errors.
AML decided that they would replace my roof under warranty and I am chuffed, it is at the dealer under repair at present and I will shout my thankyou from the tree tops.
The fault was as annoying as a scratch or dent in the duco, every time I went for a drive I could see her pain.
She returns in 10 days and I can't wait to see the transformation.
BTW for those of you who had not had the opportunity of spending time in a Vanquish 2 go and drive one, either the 6 speed or the 8 speed the Vanquish 2 is a great car, power, handling, comfort, looks, I don't have a desire for any other of the newer models as yet.... maybe the DBS however they are quite big and the Vanquish although a heavy car, as all Astons are, when side by side with the new DBS is just the right proportions IMO.
