Time for TPMS - alternatives to OE?

I replaced all the sensors on my 2011 Rapide at about £50 a corner using the OE Huf (previously called Beru) sensors. My note at the time was:

"2nd Generation Aston Martin TPMS System: Huf (bf1 Systems)
Aston Martin Part Numbers: CD23-360671-CA or AD43-360671-AA
The OE sensor is made by Huf for bf1 Systems who supply the Aston Martin factory.
This sensor is replaceable with Huf RDE011 (which supersedes the RDE007) "

These seem to be £130 a corner now creating a chunky bill for 4 + fitting on my newer Rapide S...

Does anyone have any info on alternative part numbers as found here re RDE048 by Huf: https://www.tpms.com/Aston-Martin-OE-Huf-TPMS-Sens... £50 each would more than halve the price. No point chucking it away on overpriced low cost parts!

Why do they need to be replaced?

Denso 550-1911 or 550-1922 depending on operating frequency.
Fits lots of other cars as well.

You could try asking at your local tyre fitting place. I had one of the TPMS replaced on my 2012 Vantage a couple of years ago when I needed new tyres. The local garage had a big box of various sensors compatible with most manufacturers. They fit and programmed a new TPMS for £60 ish.

I tried a set of the reprogrammable ones on my V8VS but every 30 miles or so they kept throwing TPMS errors on the dash even though the tyre pressures were visible on all 4 corners.

I eventually bought a set of brand new Huf RDE011s from a US based seller on eBay for £130 inc VAT and shipping and theyve been flawless. IMO id seek the branded ones over the generic reprogrammable ones. Unfortunately it looks like hes sold out of the RDE011 but still has RDE008 in stock, not sure if theyre compatible though? Could always drop him a message in case he can source any more of the 11s?

Either stock is unavailable or prices are loaded - set of 4 HUF RDE011 from USA is a reasonable $140! So, ordered a set of HUF RDE048 for £49 each from here https://www.onlinecarparts.co.uk/oenumber/rde048.h... (cheaper prices on the app...). Very slow delivery though.

The OE sensor is made by HUF for BF1 Systems who supply the Aston Martin with the 2nd Generation Aston Martin TPMS System (self learn post 2010 with NO LED's system):

This OE sensor is replaceable with HUF RDE011 (which supersedes the RDE007). HUF RDE048 also seems compatible and matches Aston AD43360671AA
