Was tracking module included in Australian export models?

Hi chaps, my first post!
I acquired an MY09 V8 Vantage Sport Shift last week with 24,500km. Pristine.
Still learning the car and its idiosyncrasies.
Read a bit about the nefarious tracker device and its involvement in Can Bus corruption.
Does anyone know if these devices were included in every market's V8 Vantage, or was this just a UK/Euro supported service?
I will probably dive into the console and see if one is installed, but it would obviously be easier if someone could advise beforehand.
