How do you bluetooth Spotify music in a V8V S

Sorry for a stupid question but just picked up my first V8V S model
I have got a connector from my Iphone to the OBD in the armrest section but it does not seem to recognise anything from a music perspective.
The Iphone does work on the normal bluetooth system though.
I was also struggling to find where the 3.5mm Aux connector is if there is one and whether I can bluetooth music through that port..
Also is there any sort of recommended plug and play weapon I can purchase to assist me from a music perspective.
I do understand people will say wind the window`s down and listen to the exhaust note but coming from a Maserati Grancabrio sport I must say the noise is quite subdued from the Aston in comparison. :0)

I use a Bluetooth receiver plugged in to the Aux input and plugged into the USB power.

The exact version isn't available anymore but I've purchased this one recently for my garage and it works with BT 5.0.

You do also have to connect each time you turn the car on but I can have the Audio over this and the Phone connected to the car hands free.

it would help to know the age of your car as the specification changed many times. Do you also know if you have the std audio, premium or B&O?

Assuming its an earlyish V8VS however I think they came with the old style 30-pin connector cable which plugged into the centre console. If I recall you selected AUX as the input and pressed play on the ipod to play the music into the car. Track selection is controlled on the ipod.

Later cars came with USB, and finally the very latest with AMi II and AMi III had even more sophisticated options to connect including carplay.

Avoid bluetooth streaming at all costs as you really wont be getting the best quality out of what you AM can produce.

Got my son to look at it and sorted out the Aux bluetooth so can play Spotify
Now just looking to make it noisier...have done Fuse 22 but must say didnt really notice the difference.

Wel thats probably an easy one. If your car is MY11 or later (which i think is almost certain if its a V8VS) then its fuse 15 not fuse 22.

and for the avoidance of doubt and another common mistake, its the fusebox in the boot not the other one.

£88. Just plugs into the V8VS ipod port, which luckily is common with Jag stuff. Then just sits discreetly in the box. It is even powered from the port.

Once synced, the phone will connect to it automatically everytime you get in the car. With the car in 'Ipod' mode track changes are done on the console and even via the steering wheel. All the track info is displayed on the console too. Couldnt be easier

I think Spotify's sound quality is actually below what Bluetooth supports - I wasn't aware Spotify's streaming is quite low quality - apparently an upgrade is coming ... but still below CD ??

I`ve put back fuse 22 now and pulled fuse 15 which was a 5amp as opposed to 20amp.
Its going to get de-chromed tomorrow so I`ll test the volume then.
Sorted the spotify and the bluetooth so hopefully everything hunky dory
