I assume its got lightweight seats if it has no rear seats? Aside from the huge cost in fitting them I think you would find you had damaged the value of the car, not enhanced it, further adding to the cost of the project. Then of course you have the issues of seatbelt mounts and belts, and most importantly if the car is registered at DVLA as a 2 seater, as I suspect changing that might prove tricky. Your insurer would only cover you in the event of an accident if the job was done fully and properly too.

In my experience every 4 seater aston of recent years Aston except the Rapide has effectively useless rear seats anyway.

All in all, IMHO - either buy a Vanq with 4 seats or look at a Rapide if you are serious about rear seat space.

Vanq has more front leg room, so that means a little more rear legroom if you don’t need more front leg room than you did in a DB9. I use the extra front leg room, so the rear seats are just as useless. I would expect the refit cost to be prohibitive. A 2+0 is very unique and consequently very desirable. I would think you be ahead to swap yours for a similar condition 2+2.

I'm only 5ft 8" and I can't see anyone with legs getting into the back of my Vanquish though it is nice to have in case of that emergency lift from a pub etc.
They do make nice places to throw your jacket though...

I thought all 2nd gen Vanquish's were 2 + 2? Not useable though I expect. I have an original Vanquish which is 2 + 0 which I prefer as couldn't use the seats anyway if there were any :-). Instead of seats, mine has a lift up storage area with luggage straps over the lift up lid.

I took my nephew 5'8'' and his partner to the school formal last weekend. Nephew fitted ok in the back seat except for head room. It is ok for short trips only.Great for long journeys with just the 2 of you and the hound.
