Carbon roof delaminating

Has anyone had any success getting their carbon roof repaired under the Aston paint / corrosion warranty? There are a couple of small areas where the lacquer has cracked or delaminated. And it’s not stone chip damage as it’s on the rear end of the roof.
Dealer says not covered but I vaguely recall someone on this forum had more joy.

Hi, sorry to hear this. I have had great service from Aston Martin Singapore.
My 2015 vanquish had de-lamination on the front above the rear vision mirror area and also on the passenger side rear corner. I sent photos to the Croatian Carbon fibre Guru who makes parts for Astons after market and his conclusion was that little uv retardant was used and that the clear coat/resin was reacting with the carbon. He kindly put this in email form for me.
His email and web site are listed on here for after market carbon mirrors and crash panels etc. His view was it is a manufacturing error. I ,with photos, went through my Australian Dealer who sent the info to AML UK they apparently offered 30% which was of no use to me.
I then took more photos as did the dealer and finally it was agreed to replace the roof at AML cost.
They did a perfect job, they need to remove both windscreen and rear window, all the hood linings and attached trim plus add new seals to all these areas.
I now have a new roof and it is as new. Mine was also yellowing going gold in colour which i didn't dislike. I did have a few arguments re sun damage but the car only had 19000miles on it when i bought it and I have it in an underground cave and rarely leave it outside in the sun.I also explained that most houses or properties in OZ have proper covered garages or at worst car ports.
