Lambda Sensors - Vantage SP10 (4.7S) 2014
Discussion
Hello all
Would anyone happen to know if the only option for replacement Lambda Sensors for the Vantage V8S is to buy them from Aston? Or is there a Bosch/Ford/Jag/Volvo (or equivalent) part that will do the same job for far less ££££s? A lot of the parts on the Vantage are nicked from other manufacturers, but I can't seem to find anything relating to 'equivalent' Lambda Sensors for the car.
Hope you can help and many thanks in advance for any suggestions you might have.

You tried this thread at the top of the forum ?

I know the 4.3 parts are in there, not sure on the 4.7.
Ive only changed my 4.3 in the past and bought 3 off ebay, must be nearly 10 years ago now so not sure which parts are the same. They are pretty generic, I think cable length may vary

Aston Martin bits have 4.7 and S listed as same OE part:

AMbits have all parts listed, obviously full price so many times more expensive than generic parts.
When I bought generic off ebay, the difference on one of the sensors was the cable length, the garage had trouble routing the replacement but did it eventually. It would make sense the OE parts are custom length to the application. Perhaps the generic parts fit better now.
For £23 versus £150 each, I would take a chance on the ebay part first

Thanks again for the additional replies
I take the point about the eBay part, but it's very easy to run-up more than an extra £100 of garage labour charges if they have issues with installation. As I only need to replace one sensor (for now!) - the post-cat on bank 2 - it might be easier (and ultimately less painful) just to get the OE part this time.
