Discussion
Indeed and two more on PH with Indi's which have also both been up for sale for some time. Similar prices too.

Fairly sure the Bristol car has been dropped to £499k now. That one and the one in Adams link at Bramley have been doing the rounds for a while. They are certainly rare things in the U.K. and still seem to command strong money, even at ten years old. I don’t really fancy laying out £750k for a 2011 six speed original though!

Original V12V Zagato notes.
'Following a large interest by customers, Aston Martin announced they would produce a homologated version of the car, producing only a limited run of 150 at the Aston Martin headquarters in Gaydon. Starting delivery in the second half of 2012, the Zagato was priced at around £330,000 excluding local taxes. In the end, orders did not materialise at the rate envisioned and only 61 cars were actually made.'
For me the DB4 is beautiful and the DB4 Zagato is also beautiful.
The V12 Vantage is beautiful, but somehow the appearance of V12 Vantage Zagato, does not quite 'hit the mark'.
What are your opinions ?

For me, the V12V Zagato, the Vanquish Zagato and the AMR Rapide are the 3 most beautiful models produced from the VH era of gaydon cars. Of the 3 the AMR Rapide was the only one I was willing to part with the sale price, hence that's the one we now own in addition to Kermit of course. If they were all the same price then I think the V12V Zagato might even nudge it for shear overall looks. The muscle sinew stitch on the leather incl the roof liner, the scoops in the bonnet, huge grille and the gorgeous double bubble roof and curved rear glass are all really special IMHO.
My problem with it now looking back is the regular V12V underpinnings, dash etc... As we know the later S offered so many improvements in so many areas, AMi III on the later cars, I think going back to a earlier generation would feel a bit of a let down now. That said it is still a stunner regardless of those shortcomings and with only 61 (65) cars ever made it is far rarer than many other rare model of the era.
So, enter the V12 Zagato Heritage edition, thank you to R Reforged! These have to be the ultimate V12V Zagato with all the prior issues addressed and rolled into the later V12VS car. Just 19 coupes plus 19 roadsters sold as a pair only. Job done - perfection!

I think the V12 Zagato is lovely. Obviously, I do like my sports cars a little flashy.
But then again, if I had real Aston money, rather than Porsche money, I would prefer the DBS GT Zagato. Even if it’s big, and used the hated ( not by me) but modified center console from the current gen Vantage.
How can you not love something that rare and splashy? It’s almost the definition of special for a car.

Just back from a 3k mile Italian road trip, our Rapide AMR got a lot of complments from pump attendants to tunnel and customs staff, perfect car and a joy to own and drive.
They are special car's arn't they - so beautiful! Post some pics then please - I don't recall seeing any pics of yours?
Such a shame that court action has now become involved.
I don't know the full background to the action, but it seems strange to sue your best appointed dealer in the world, responsible for selling so many special models. The episode looks like big stakes for AML. I understand that even before a court decision, the very special and beautiful dealership has already been closed.
Dr. Andreas Baenziger and Dr. Florian Kamelger on left.

Is R Reforged a part of St Gallen? I knew they were also Swiss, but didn't realise they were the same business?
Yes, I think so.

Quite a story. Apparently, very much to AML's benefit.
It makes legal action seem very odd, but we will find out in time.

Oh no, that's extra sad then. I wonder if any of the V12V Zag Heritage twins ever made it into production aside from the two in the video? Hopefully so as they were based on reskinning and upgrading an existing donor V12VS so shouldn't be affected by the fall out I guess.
AML might have cut off supply of components though.
Timing - I found an article dated December 2020, announcing the first Heritage twins had been completed.
It was in June 2021 that the legal dispute was reported, but of course the action might have commenced well before being reported.
An internet search of whether all 19 pairs have been built, did not find any news.
I did see though, that the assembly of each car takes 16 weeks and was/is taking place at R-reforged premises in Warwick. That is also referenced as where the Callum Vanquish 25 was built.

I get e exclusivity etc and they are beautiful but if they were the standard model and someone bought out the V12V we all know and love and called it the S plus Italian name da bladiblah and promised to make it in limited numbers then which would we prefer.
I can see it's special. I would have one but defo not saying I prefer it.

An interesting juxtaposition.
In a similar vein, I am also sure that if the 2005 Vantage successor, had the exterior body appearance of the Ferrari Roma (before Ferrari blatently used Aston Martin DNA). It could have been a winner, appealing to both new and importantly, also existing owners.
I think Ferrari have set their model at a much higher price point, but even so, have already sold 1,500 and that is only the total for Europe.
When I have mentioned this before, the comments are usually about not liking the interior and front grille, but I am only referring to the overall exterior body design.
