Magnetic charge connector.
Discussion
Yep, did mine a year ago and now used it all the time. Several others picked up the post and all have found it a great addition, and so functional. Sorry I can't post a link to the thread, but easily searched.
All up, such a cheap and easy upgrade, with no downsides, removes risk of starting up with charger connected as it automatically disconnects if you make a mistake.

Mine came with the car because I have a newer model.
There have been threads about it and I am not alone in finding it more quirky to connect than say directly to a battery or through a 12v or cigarette outlet.
Personally I could live without it. I have 5 cars. Two I connect through a pigtail to the battery, two through a 12V outlet and the magnetic on the Aston.
The magnetic is the only one likely to need a jingle when connected, the rest never an issue. It was a solution in search of a problem, IMO.
