Phantom Grey Leather Needed
Discussion
Hi, All. I've posted about this before, but I still haven't had any success.
I need to re-cover the passenger-side airbag cover in my LHD '06 DB9 Volante. The leather is Phantom Grey, but I can't find it anywhere. The panel is the large panel to the right of the nav screen door and center vents in the waterfall in the image below.
Most recently I ordered a full hide from Aston Martin Bits, but they just emailed me to let me know that they just received a message from Bridge of Weir that they are "no longer supplying the Phantom Grey leather." Aston Martin themselves also replied that they are unable to help.
Can anyone help out or make a suggestion?
Thanks.

This place is local to me and might be able to help https://www.classiccarservices.co.uk/shop/leather-...
You never know they may have some old stock.

Hello Mike,
Have just been watching a Jay Leno film. At 13min 25sec he speaks very highly of a firm, which only deals in dashboards.

Probably a long way from you, but possibly a start being in the same country.
You never know, they might be able to help you. Wish you luck.
I have pale grey leather in my daily, which I much prefer to black, although parts of it might have never seen a cow!
Obsidian Black in my Vantage though, but the white stitching and a pale roof lining helps. Obsidian is quite common with AMs, so Bridge of Wier might even keep availability going for that colour leather.
I noticed the dreaded dash leather ripple earlier this year, but it has corrected itself now. Perhaps my cow likes hot temperatures.
Edit - correction to time.
