Group Buy...Phantom Grey Leather: Anyone Interested?

Hello, All. I recognize this is not for everyone, but I'm posting this on several different discussion boards to gauge whether there might be any interest in commissioning Bridge of Weir to put Aston Martin Phantom Grey leather back into production.
As you might have learned from my earlier posts, there appears to be no Phantom Grey leather available anywhere. Neither Aston Martin nor Aston Martin Works can supply it, and none of the parts suppliers or trim shops I've contacted have any. Bridge of Weir, the firm which supplied the original leather to Aston Martin, told me that they have none and the last batch they produced was in 2020.
However, they said that they would produce a new batch of Aston Martin Phantom Grey hides with a minimum order for eight hides. The cost per hide would be £517.00 (plus vat).
I asked Tim Cottingham, the AMHT Registrar, how many Astons have Phantom Grey interior, and he replied "There are at least 3000 cars with Phantom Grey upper interior - could be more as I don't have a compete list of lower colours."
Please consider that you may have Phantom Grey leather and not know it. I thought my leather was a slightly "gentle" black until I learned otherwise from my VIN.
So...I'm in for a full hide, as I need to re-cover my DB9 passenger airbag cover now, and I'm 100% sure that I'll need to re-cover other panels in the future.
