CONVERT vantage 2006 4.3 to L.P.G
Discussion
I don't know anything about the fuel cost benefits, but I can mention the UK experience of an LPG enthusiast.
All was going so well (an LPG Subaru Forester, recently replaced by an identical newer one), until her local gas supplier closed. Now has to drive many miles from home, out of her way, just to refill.
I think it can also run on petrol, so perhaps that fuel is mostly used now.
In Spain, there are LPG suppliers, the main problem is being able to obtain the ECO environmental label, which allows you to enter traffic-restricted areas in cities, LPG, in Spain, is quoted with the ECO label, in vehicles registered from 2006 JANUARY. in fact you can still use gasoline....
Try to look for conversion reports of other makes with similar engines, for example BMW with M62 4.4l V8 engines.
There you have a better chance to find information.
The conversion process itself should be similar.
However, if you (for a LPG Only conversion) need to replace the fuel tank etc- this will become epensive....
