Wow, talk about the sum of the parts is greater than the whole! I wonder what happened to the battery, but the could be a lovely car again, its got Matt Armstrong written all over it! Such a shame.

But I wonder why the person in the video is collecting the car? What happens when its written off, do people start to bid for these and then tear them apart?

I don't think I could handle my car being stripped like that!

Yes, offside and only one (unless changed in later models).

Hard to believe the damage would cost more to repair than the value of the car.

Kev is a contributor to the PH forum so perhaps he can explain. I assumed the issue that made this a breaker is contamination from the battery leaking sulphuric acid into the cabin.

Usually most are worth more in bits than as a complete car. That certain popular auction site throws up a few new vantages for example with parts available, Matt Armstrong had opportunities in that area.

Equally for some owners it is get out of jail card, one owner quoted £788 for a new sun visor, there is one going for £90 on ebay, aston martinbits also is another good site.
