Found this in a Jay Leno video from his visit to the factory:

Presumably an AM plan to match Range Rover. Did it have a name?

I think it was just referred to as The 2009 Lagonda Concept

The back end could do with a restyle, but I kind of like it. Probably more than the DBX.

I think I can remember seeing a video of his visit to Morgan, but I don't think I have seen him at Gaydon.
Please post a link John.

A wonderful car enthusiast.
He has a good joke about 1 wife and 250 cars.

Agreed on both counts. The DBX is designed from a different direction, evolved (in my eyes anyway) upwards from the cars and more 'in yer face'. This looks more sophisticated IMHO. Actually, on reflection I'd go for something between the two.

Nah, it looks like a big saab which is not necessarily a bad thing admittedly. I would much rather Lagonda come back with a big saloon or limo though. Like that limited run thing they did a few years ago.

Thank you.

With his Morgan factory visit, there was a full video, but I see now, quite brief coverage of Gaydon.
He was honoured to be shown the design studio. M.R. was in full flow.

Did not recognise the tour guide. Don't think Steve Waddingham.

When he did the Virage 'burnout', how was the car held stationary, with rear wheels spinning?
Presumably would somehow need front brakes on.
Cinematic trick perhaps ?

Better to look like a big Saab than looking like a big Ford Puma like the DBX does
