Seat heating element DB9/V8Vantage

I know these commonly fail, but has anyone replaced the elements themselves? I’ve not come across a DIY or YouTube video on it, and it looks a pain to do

Car is a 2005 DB9, I understand the seats are the same in the V8 vantage as well

My car is a 2006 DB9 Volante, but with 2008 or later seats. I don't know who put the newer seats in but they really bodged the job; heated sets, lumbar adjustment, electric seat back release, all just had cut wires and disconnected and not working.

i took the seats apart and rewired, put solenoids in etc. and it all works now, the seats are not particularly difficult to take apart, just be careful with the plastic rods that hold the covers into the gullies so you don't break the clips. The heating elements are glued to the foam but can be removed quite easily.

Mine work fine now.
