V12 Vantage [6.0 na] carbon fibre seat booster seat

I need to transport a small person in a V12 Vantage with the carbon fibre seats.

Anyone have any experience of a booster seat that fits?

Please note - carbon fibre seats, so something that fits the regular seats may not fit, hence question to people with carbon fibre seats.

Having standard seats, I used pillows and towels to keep the leather safe, then a normal child seat with incorporated harness.

My only experience was I bought a Recaro booster seat for my DB9 for the grandson. It fitted well as it was designed for sports cars such as Porsche. see if they have them on line.

You might want to check the manual for the carbon seats and boosters.

When I was looking for mine I found out that Aston Martin state, you should not fit a child seat to the carbon seats in a 2008 model, might be different in yours though.

I have a faint recollection, that side air bags are not fitted to a Vantage with lightweight seats.

If so, might that perhaps be a reason, for the AML statement ?

Ben who does the @dadcars YouTube channel uses travel car seats in his DB9. I don't know if he's done any reviews with carbon seats in other models, it's easy enough to find his email via a quick Google to ask him directly.

I use the miFold booster seats. They're compact, adjustable, legal and fold up and go in the boot when not in use.

I seem to remember that my Porsche booster car seat was narrower at the back so it would slot into sports seats. I left it with the car when I sold it but you could try and post on the Porsche forum to see if anyone has one they could measure for you. They do pop up on eBay from time to time
