Question on window drop when opening the door [DBS 2010]

Hi all,

I had to reset my windows after a battery issue.

A detail question on the window lowering mechanism when opening doors:

From the outside, when pulling the handle (without opening yet), the window immediately drops a bit.

From the inside, the drop does not happen upon pulling the door handle, but only once starting to open the door a bit. It‘s very fast but I thought it would have done it differently before, upon pulling the handle.

Is this the same for your cars, fellow Aston DB9/DBS owners?
