2009 Aston Martin Vantage. The parking assist sensors seem to work as I get the blinking red on the interior switch, but no beeping sound.

Do you have a long beep when they engage? My DB9 developed this late last year and hasn't had parking sensors since. I've surmised one of the sensors has died and the whole system failed, waiting for a service in April to find out.

Long beep means the system is inactive - probably a failed sensor, the location of which a code reader will identify.

It quite possibly is one of the sensors that has failed, I had this not long after I got my V8V. There's a simple test to check. Turn the ignition on, but don't start the engine. Engage reverse gear and then place your ear next to each of the sensors in turn. If they are working, you should be able to hear a faint clicking noise from each of them. If any of them don't, then it is likely one or more has failed. If none of them click, then it is more likely to be the actual control unit itself. If just one has failed, the system will not work at all.
