Good morning all.

A few days ago I had my battery replaced oh my 57 plate DB9. After the battery change, everything was working fine. The next day, when I opened my drivers side door the glass didn’t drop. I’ve tried the generic reset of all the way down until a click and then all the way up until a click, however still no joy and the window just won’t drop- but otherwise works up and down fine. At first I thought it may have been the battery change but it seemed weird that it was working normally at first. All is fine with the passenger side working as normal.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated- at the moment I am having to exit the car via the passenger side to be able to put the window all the way up!

I believe you may have posted this on Farcebook and have solved your problem, so well done. Life with Astons, eh?

Pull out and push back in the relevant fuse in the passenger footwell. It resets the window module apparently - and fixed mine after the battery got too low.

If you hunt back 2-3 months you'll find my post about it.

Cheers Simpo. That did the trick - just needed to do a normal reset with the switches after taking the fuses out and back in.
