I have a 2015 Vanquish Coupe and occasionally the steering wheel response goes very hard. If I drive normally for 30-40 mins, there are no issues at all, it's when I drive hard for 30-40 mins, I will come to a stop and then when I try to turn the wheel, it's very hard to turn, as if there is no power steering. Then when I move off again it kind of disappears. The steering is normally nice and light, you can use 1-2 fingers at parking speeds but when it hardens up you need to use a good firm hand or two.

I checked the power steering fluid and there is plenty in there. No noises I can hear from the steering system. Has anyone else had this happen to them, or can they give any advise to what it might be ?

Thank you.

I had something similar on an old Jaguar of mine - I found that flushing and changing the PAS fluid sorted it all out

I had exactly the same on a V12 vantage. They replaced the power steering pump under warranty which fixed the problem.
