My Aston Martin tracker is coming up for renewal.

It is the official AM one which is done via Vodafone Automotive.

Does any of the collective have any suggestions as to how a might secure a tracker contract for a fee that does not include the Aston Martin tax?

Many thanks

I don't think there is any tax as such Steve, Vodaphone pretty much set the fees and it was the same cost on the Porsche's I owned.

There are options for longer term and life membership even if I recall, both of which offer better value as you, like I, intend to keep your car for a very long time! smile

You could switch to a different system but then you would have to buy it and pay to have it installed and it would take a fair few years to get payback I expect.

You could try this. No Aston tax.
Just £29, or £62 for four.

It is what we realise we should have had, after losing a wallet. - smile

Take it on a car journey, then look at your App. Shows exactly where you have been.
Slip it into your wife's handbag, then surprise her by having a hot coffee all ready for her, just before she arrives home.
Well perhaps not, she might wonder how you knew. - smile

I think there is an Apple version.

When I renewed my insurance with Performance Direct a few years back they sent me a tracker Nano free of charge, included in the policy, no ongoing fees.
