Buy what you like not what others like. No such thing imo as ‘safe’, these cars will lose money.
Ring the last dealership that serviced the car and ask them if they can give you any info on its condition when they had it in.
I know it’ll loose. Things are down. I don’t mind losing money. Apologies my phone auto corrected to vantage. And its a vanquish…

Everyone’s opinion will no doubt differ but the colour looks lovely ( when clean ) and the dealer site seems encouraging with good reviews.
Spec seems quite high but I think a fair amount of that was standard.
Mileage per year is lower than a lot of others.
I’ve only ever bought new Astons - how does the warranty work / how long and is it going to be an Aston warranty or something else ?

I'm going to find out about the warranty. I wish I only ever bought new Astons Spec seems quite high but I think a fair amount of that was standard.

I think Kopi Bronze is beautiful and looks great on this Vanquish. Can't comment on the ownership proposition as my experience is limited to a manual Vantage roadster, but this looks to be fairly compelling, though I'm not sold on the haptic controls. But the newer dash does look nice and with it came drivetrain & other upgrades.

I went to look at one there once, wouldn’t go again. Not to say it might not be a good car but if I was buying a vanq I think I’d go to someone who specialises in AstonsSpec seems quite high but I think a fair amount of that was standard.

I love kopi bronze it looks really nice however as nice a car as it looks I do think the spec is missing a few options that seem to be on most people's must haves when buying a Vanquish.
The waterfall dash is piano black not carbon
Sidestrakes not carbon
Mirror caps not carbon
Roof not carbon
When I was shopping cars with these def sold quicker than cars without. Obviously whether you like that look of carbon everywhere is personal but I mention it for potential resale purposes only so it depends how long you intend keeping it.
It does have cooled seats though so that's a plus as usually only volante tend to have them.
You could have the car inspected by a dealer I think it's about £300(?) And if all OK have rhe warranty added for about £3k and so use that as a bargaining chip on price.
Certainly a nice looking car though.

don't mind the roof not being carbon. I personally don't see that as a +/- either way. it is a shame the dash isn't carbon though. The waterfall dash is piano black not carbon

I do like the 'caithness' leather and the lightweight wheels.
Looking at DVLA nothing showing on the previous MOT's all with a PASS, last owner was 12 months ago why is it up for sale with just 12 months of ownership?.
As already mentioned if you do purchase I would state to the dealer that you are taking for an independent inspection as if anything is found you have 30 days to return.

That's not to say its not a good spec, because all Vanquishes came very well spec'd as standard anyway, but as an example - the dealer states its in a special order colour, then photo 18 shows that Kopi Bronze was a contemporary colour. Contemporary colours were the 2nd tier of colours in any model year, the first tier being "fast track". This meant these colours were pretty much the standard spec colours and the cost of them was lower than other colours. So far from special order at all! All that said Kopi Bronze is a lovely colour and not all that common really.
Caithness leather likewise is pretty much the standard leather you will see on most VH series Astons.
There were 3 grades of leather:
Strathmore was the free option. Whilst it was OK is really only just meets the standard you would expect in an Aston. It is thankfully rarely seen, although annoyingly things like the gear gaiter were always strathmore unless you optioned a custom gaiter. It came in a limited number of colours.
Caithness was a fairly low cost upgrade and was much nicer quality. It had bar far the most colour options and was the most commonly seen leather grade option. If I were to guess I would say 98% of VH Astons sold had this grade of leather.
Finally was the more expensive Balmoral upgrade. This was even nicer leather, but due to a somewhat limited colour choice and additional cost it was rarely chosen.
I would personally avoid a car with strathmore leather if I found one, but you likely wont find one, especially on a Vanquish (Id have to check back but caithness may even have been standard on the Vanq). Equally I wouldn't hold out for a Balmoral leather car, because they are ultra rare and you may not like the limited colours anyway.
Hope that helps on your journey.

Special colours was another tier, and was not a special order. Again that's different. Regardless the spec sheet from the factory in pic 18 says its a contemporary colour, which I would be minded to take as factual for this car at the time of its build. The colours changed category every year anyway sometimes jumping up or down in price a fair bit.chrome-extension://efaidnbmnnnibpcajpcglclefindmkaj/https://autoportal.com/img/new-cars-gallery/astonmartin/vanquish/brochures/b55fb91a391aca8b0c95bd96c6a627d01_15MY%20Vanquish%20AW%20Brochure.pdf
Regardless it makes no difference, I was just pointing out that the dealer was saying stuff that wasnt factually correct, but then so many dealers do, sometimes even AM main dealers make mistakes like this.
If you like the colour thats all that matters.
There are millions of colours available all the time for Aston Buyers and that before you get into the realms of speccing say a ferrari colour or such like.
heres a website with many of them, but there are even more than this website shows in reality! There is almost an endless list, which is what makes speccing your own Aston new such a great experience - making your car truly unique.

Like Alscar, I have only even bought new AM's - 5 of them in fact, but only one of them did I fully spec myself at the factory. This one holds a very special place in my heart and will never be sold.

The spec is also a personal matter so if you like again that's all that matters.
Adam ,looking at that colour chart I see that Kermit remains on there and still is a stand out colour in so many ways.
As others have said, spec on these cars is generally very good. Colour is good but it’s all about what you like. If you have an eye on selling it down the line bear in mind this isn’t a colour you see often which may slow down a sale.
One thing to look for on these are stone chips. Not just on the front end but the A pillars, the door mirror caps, lead edge of the roof and the lead face of the rear wings (the factory protection is nowhere large enough).
