Just finished wiring in a dash cam on a V12 Vantage, I did have a problem trying to find a switched ignition 12V without having to wire to the boot/bonnet fuse box.

However I did find the cabin fuse box located under the passenger footwell although this is not listed in any of the Vantage owners manuals, only shown in the Vanquish owners manual so connected the wiring using a piggy back fuse.

There are over 30 fuses in the cabin fuse box but I can find any mention of what the purpose of each fuse is, I take it that as an owner we are not allowed to know that this fuse box exists?.

My question is does anyone have a layout for the cabin fuse box in a V12 Vantage or even if this exists in a V8 Vantage.

The cabin fuse box is described in my V8 owners manual, along with what fuses are in it. I accessed it last year to replace washer pump fuses. It did seem a bit overkill to have to remove the carpets, then a whole bunch of large bolts and a thick aluminium plate to get to it, however given it’s location it does need protecting properly.

Can I ask what year owners manual you refer too please.

I looked back on the AM owners manual website from 2017 - 2015 for V8/V12 Vantages and they only show the engine and boot fuse layouts.

I don’t have it to hand, I think the manual is dated 2010. Car is an early 2011 V8S.

I have a soft copy somewhere, will try to locate the relevant section. AFAIK the cabin fuse box has never been any kind of secret, I’d always understood that it was well known there are 3 seperate boxes on the car.

Many thanks for your replies.

It is in the AM 2010 Vantage owners manual and 2011 but from then on nothing to let you know that there is an additional fuse box, maybe an error or AM does not want you to know.

I have printed the info out and will leave in the car just in case.
