2017 vanquish best unbranded outdoor cover?
Discussion
Had a few Specialised covers over the last 20 years. Use one on my Vantage Roadster for longer periods of inactivity, great quality, soft inside and easy to put on. Tailored perfectly to each vehicle.

I used Classic Additions 'Ultimate Outdoor Car Cover'. They'll put a logo on the front for £30 but that's not a benefit for you.https://www.specialisedcovers.com/

An outdoor cover can be a bit of an armful but once on the roof the right way round, it just fits over the car with a big elastic all the way round the bottom. There's also a wire with small padlock that can go across the car underneath - it won't stop anyone with wirecutters but will stop the cover blowing off in a gale (as mine did once). Good service too.
Edited 'cos I got the company wrong!

I’ve only had indoor covers and have used Classic Additions.
However for those recommending Specialised Outdoor Covers have any of you used them for open top cars etc and if so how have they fared ?
I’ve run out of garages and want to add a Caterham before I’m too old but it would have to live outside hence my question.
Apologies to OP for slight thread derail.

I’m pretty sure it was one of theirs that I used for several years with my Spitfire. I’m not sure what they call the fabric these days, or if they even still do the same one, but they used to do one that was quite lightweight and the water would simply bead and run off. Packed down very small too. Their advice at the time was to not get on with any sort of quilted/fluffy liner so as to avoid 1) grit getting caught; and 2) the fibres sticking to the hood. Thanks LT - I’ll give them a call - I had already assumed that I would need some form of hood and the outdoor cover on top of that. Gassing Station | Aston Martin | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
