My 2020 Vantage has the splitter/diffuser/rockers painted black. But Aston doesn't have a touch up paint for that color and can't tell me what the color actually is. Does anyone know what color black would match that to touch up tiny rock chips?

Seems odd Aston doesn't have something since those are very likely to need some touch-up.

So, I don't know the correct paint code, but I'd wager it's what AM term "Jet Black". That said, I think my move would be to use gloss black PPF on all those pieces. I know XPEL makes such a product.

Not sure Jet Black is going to match. Someone with a Jet Black car could likely tell us.

Putting XPEL on it is good idea for the long run.

Funnily enough, I was talking to a guy local to me that offers PPF as I had a problem with my carbon wing mirror caps where the top coat was peeling off leaving a very unsightly glossy part carbon weave with areas of dull open carbon areas. I needed a rush job to get the car looking better for the Silverstone event last Sunday. He was able to take the caps, remove the rest of the gloss coat and PPF them to bring back the carbon weave look. On the whole for a rush job it was very good although longer term I think I will get them re worked correctly.

Ended up chatting and he told me there are a lot of people driving cars where the front splitter is cracked or damaged who get PPF to cover affected area and it holds up very well.
