Dear friends,

I have purchased an beautiful db9 from 2005 Volante with terrible audio upgrade job done by someone who needs to be arrested.
To make long story short, I am installing the original audio back to the vehicle.
Got solved now,
- sat nav. Bought and installed. Plugs are ok.
- sat nav dvd installed and plugs ok.
- cd player installed and plugs ok.
- amplifier not solved yet.
The connectors of the amplifier are missing. The one for the power and speakers. Optical still there.
Does anyone could help me with this? I have figured out that it’s a Volvo system and almost same amplifier with same connectors.
Meest only the diagram of the wiring colours to the connectors numbers. Or some high quality pics would help also.
Hopefully someone there to help get the music back to this nice machine.

Gosh, what a shame.

Good that you have the technical knowledge, to be able to restore everything.
You seem to have nearly completed the task.

Enjoy your car.

Dont think in would bother with the OEM AMP. the one i removed from my vantage i replaced with a pioneer gm-d1004 (similar to the focal ultra compact units. its 15% the size, 20% of the weight and 200% the performance. You dont look to have a MOST connection so no issues with compatibility

EDIT: Sorry you do have MOST link, dunno if thats to the amp or not. if it is, its going to limit your options somewhat

Hi Lanewhy.
Yes I do have MOST.
I love to try to go as original as possible. Probably with quality loss.
Changing MOST to analog audio has already been done at my workshop for Land Rovers.

Yes I found it and bought it. Unfortunately the wiring colours are different from Aston and Volvo.
That’s why I’m asking for some pics of original situations on a db9. As you can see the Volvo have more greenish colours.

Not sure it was me. But usually a V12 Aston Martin misfiring means new spark plugs and coils. All 12 unfortunately. Also need to check if These are 2 or 3 pins coils.
