Got an e-mail from the RAC:

'Getting a regular service could stop your car from failing its MOT and save you from expensive repairs. Remember, you’ll need to get an MOT every year if your car is over 3 years old. But servicing can be pricey. So spread the cost over 2 years with an RAC Service and MOT Plan. You’ll be covered for a full service, interim service and 2 MOTs, from £20 a month.'

Well that's cheap, I'll sign up! I wonder if there's a catch?

Remember - you are wrong.

I have a car which is over 3 years old, that does not need an MoT.
It is perfectly legal for use on public roads.
