I notice that recent new near neighbours have a DB7.
When I say hello, I ought to have the correct facts ready.

How to tell from a distance, whether it might be an i6, or a V12?

Is it only the Vantage version (think that means V12), which has the two large circular front fog lights?

The car does have the large fog lights, but the exhaust sound seems more like a 6 cylinder.

Yes to the circular side lights, unless its an i6 with a later front end.

The sills are wider but its hatd to tell without a side by side comparison.
The wheels are also a different design. Finally, it says vantage on the back

Thank you William for your prompt reply.

I can see now why I was puzzled. The big front lights were a feature on the later DB7s, before the introduction of the Vantage (V12 engine).

My neighbours' car is therefore likely to be a later model DB7 (i6 engine).

Thank you John.
Yes, I had a look at Tim's website and could see that limited editions were in full flow, during the Bloxham days.

A strategy that seems to work well for AML.
Wonder if that type of marketing was also used at Newport Pagnell ?

I’m hoping you aren’t going to show any less respect for this new neighbour on account of his lack of cylinders ?
With almost 85% of all new registrations subject to a leasing agreement I’m amazed he actually owns anything
My neighbour runs a Dacia Duster , we have no conversation

Certainly not. Just wanted to obtain more knowledge about which model.
My own Vantage is the 'baby' version. It has perfectly 'adequate' performance.

As for cylinders, the Koenigsegg Gemera is much admired and is considered the fastest road car in the world.
It has 3 cylinders.

Aston Martin recently stated 30% of their new cars are obtained using PCP type finance.
I don't think PCP would be available for a Gemera.
