If it's anything like my Z4, stick it in reverse, allow the mirror to dip, then readjust to the regular position.

Subsequently, the mirror stayed put. That did the job for me.

I think you simply move the switch for the mirrors on the door to the drivers side position.

This ^^^ (in earlier cars). Move the stick to the middle position for neither driver nor passenger side mirror to drop on selecting reverse gear.

Later cars had the option embedded into the Infotainment Car setup menus, where you could specify Neither / Driver / Passenger or Both if I recall correctly.

It's in the menu. I set mine to dip and I really hate it they dip way to far down, all I see is the ground. Been meaning to switch back every time I use reverse.

It’s in the menu, along with the auto fold on locking.

I have a 2012 V12 Vantage. I have my car set to dip both mirrors when I reverse. Sometimes I don’t want the drivers side mirror to dip so after it dips I just push the drivers side mirror button and it returns to normal.
