Aston Martin V8 Vantage AMR Pro
Discussion
Seven cars (track only) were built and according to my Limited Editions table,
https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=17...
the list price was £950,000 plus local sales tax.
One of those cars has been adapted, making it road legal.
The owner has several other Vantages in a collection including,
V600 Coupe prototype.
V600 Roadster.
V12 Vantage (2022)
Hardly used for 6 years !

HR Owen have a V600 roadster for sale too, and a 2022 V12 vantage . Perhaps he’s selling the whole collection/
- quite a depreciation to handle
Indeed... As much as I hugely admire the AMR Pro V8V, its the V600 roadster that he is selling that I keep going back to look at to see if its still for sale. Such alure, such rarity and a such a beautiful and unique combo. - quite a depreciation to handle
It's a shame its the price of a house upgrade! Decisions, decisions...

I might see these two cars in a couple of weeks time.
It was interesting to watch Shmee's in-car driving video, of the V8 Vantage AMR Pro.
Plenty of enthusiastic and complimentary (selling) remarks.
I sometimes drive his exact route, in my tweaked V8 Vantage (1 of 7).
A video inside my car of that journey, would reveal almost the same interior, similar exhaust sounds and exactly the same driving speeds, but including change of £700,000 !
Even a lack of rear wing would not be felt, because there is only one bend in a brief 70mph section.
I don't need an accompanying car running ahead, looking out for road humps.
It is a strange world.
