DB 9 2009 cruise control

My 2009 DB 9 cruise control became erratic several months ago and now won't engage. Any suggestions?

For what it’s worth…if the handbrake isn’t fully dissngaged..and I mean the last micron..lol….the cruise won’t engage…at leastvthat is true of my other vehicles….
