Hi all

Just picked up my first Aston the other day and living the drive. Few minor issues that are yet to be resolved but the latest one is the light seems to be extremely low when the dipped beam is on. Is this normal that only the thin light strip engages or is it supposed to engage either of the other two bulbs? When the high beam is on it does engage them all so the bulbs don’t seem to have blown. Does anybody know what the issue could be / how to fix it?

Thanks for your help!

On low beam the outer bulb should illuminate and on full beam they should both light up, pretty useless lights though so difficult to tell the difference even when they are on wink

Thought that was the case thanks Paul. Don’t happen to know what the issue could be do you?

The low beam unit comprises a HID bulb and a choke, which is a flat unit just below the headlamp assembly. It's usually the choke that fails, the bulb very rarely.

As it is a Vantage the low beam could be HID or halogen, if halogen then no ballast just a bulb. However the fact that neither side of the car works may point to something other than a failed bulb
