Hi,

Anyone know current cost of replacing CCB disc's and pads?

Thanks!

PS I have tried searching but nothing obvious comes up.

I think it’s worth calling around specialists- there seems ti be some deals to be had on replacement kits. Bamford Rose just replaced my rear brakes (discs and both sets of pads) for much less than the prices listed above. My car is on 59k miles as well.

Moving to steel discs is another option too.

Thanks all, 20k.. Kinda what I recall from my previous ownership.. but as said above might be worth hunting around.

I recall having a full new set of disks and pad under warranty back in 2014 ...

Interesting website, thanks for the link!

Just curious about a few things, if you don't mind commenting:

- I note that Carbobrake sells rotors without cross-drilled holes, claiming technology has evolved to the point they are not needed, but your picture shows cross-drilling. Is there any specific reason you decided to keep the cross-drilling?

- Are you using OEM pads or Carbobrake pads?

- How would you say the brake feel and performance are with the Carbobrake setup? Any appreciable difference from OEM?

TIA

I paid 5500€ for the two front discs.
I choose drilled discs as OEM
I use Pagid Rsc1 4941 front pads
And Rsc1 4943 for rear.
No squeal and half price !
Carbobrake pads are Pagid Rsc1 or Rsc2 or 3.
Feeling and performance à little better...
