Locking v12v without alarm for ferry crossing

Owners Manual said:
Reduced guard is set by using the car settings menu. Press MENU (A).
Navigate to <Car settings...> Enter <Reduced guard...>. Select
<Activate once> or <Ask on exit> and press ENTER to toggle
between ON and OFF. Then press and hold BACK to accept and
return to the main screen.

Good to hear you can do this. It was a bit disconcerting hearing loads of car alarms going off as we left Poole on a ferry this summer…. Like most I had just locked mine as usual. You can’t get back on the car deck so I spent the whole trip wondering if mine was one of them and the battery would be flat when we got to France… luckily it was ok, but on the way back I just left it unlocked… if anyone wanted week old gear after Le Mans they were welcome to it
