Has anyone else had this issue with their wheels. My friend has a 2021 11 volante done 15000 kl never on dirt no curb rash drives it without anger and this is his wheel.
Am have offered him 50% … ludicrous and insulting

I would go over the dealer contact AM factory. It’s outrageous if they don’t replace them.

Yes I will suggest this. The car has been babied no flat tyres no bent rims, no scrapes.

Do you have a picture of the whole wheel as well as the close-up? There seems to be something odd in the bottom right of the picture, but it could be a distortion or reflection

My friend has taken it to an Alloy Doctor to try and determine what caused this crack.
I have passed on your recommendations re contacting Gaydon client support.
The alloy Doctor hasn't come back with any suggestions other than "Bin It" It can not be repaired. AM want to charge him approx $3500 for a 50% share so they are saying a wheel cost $7000 , they must be made from a secret Mars Alloy.
What ever happened to sensible client service.
eg, Check tyre for damage, if no damage, check rim for round, if round check for evidence of impact, if no evidence of impact send wheel to be examined by xray or by an expert.
If nothing to do with the driver, replace wheel for free and do it all ASAP if there are other reports of similar wow that's an interesting event that will unfold.

Are these the wheels AML stopped using for DB11 due to failures?

Or are these the replacement wheel?

The $ here is Australia? So GBP3600 for one wheel!

That seems rather a lot...

There aren't many AML dealers in Australia and they do seem to take the on prices...

Gaydon aftersales receive my vote.

Looks like the Allied Carpets system.
Double the price, then have a 50% Discount Sale.

And look what happened to them.
Does anyone remember Allied Carpets ?

I do Jon. They bombarded the TV watching public with adverts. " I remember that day, it was when Allied Carpets didn't have a sale on !"

I bought a new DB11 wheel a year ago. £1300 fitted

Is this a known fact, if so they really need to replace all his wheels FOC plus buy him dinner for the inconvenience. Is there any info re these faulty wheels that I can send to him?.

That is a ridiculous price.
You can get a whole set of Ferrari Roma wheels for under 4k.

Wow 900 what a great buy. That would solve his issues.
