Interesting factory presentation about the chassis development of the DB11, from this it’s possible to grasp just how much work went into that car from the ground up. It just covers the chassis and body design for manufacture, improving crash test performance while increasing space, minimising weight while increasing stiffness. The lot of an engineer.

Enjoy.

Thank you very much for this Calinours! It always amazes me how much "engineering ingenuity" does go into a car. Curious if such a document also exists for Vanquish - DBS.

I wonder when chassis development will be perfected? They seem to keep getting better and better. Is it just down to computing power?

This was a presentation on the then new DB11 Body Engineering made to the sixth Global Automotive Lightweight Materials Conference in Birmingham in 2017 by a manager and one of the structural analysts, so it's not a document that would necessarily be compiled for every model.
