Then you need AMDS unfortunately. Furthermore if you change the battery or if it gets too low you'll lose the function and have to find an AMDS-equipped place again. And again if you take the mirror off for any reason.Yet in a Jaguar of the same era it's in the dashboard menu.... a major fail to Aston there IMHO.

I have a 2006 DB9 Volante, I have had a flat battery a couple of times and had the mirrors off repeatedly but never lost the folding on lock function.Yet in a Jaguar of the same era it's in the dashboard menu.... a major fail to Aston there IMHO.
(I do have the later DBS style mirrors and now also have the pectron door modules but had flat battery and removed mirrors before changing door modules)

Well there's a funny thing; the reset function on mine (2007) failed immediately on all occasions. Perhaps there's a battery back-up somewhere which is working in your car but not in mine? Would Aston be that clever?Gassing Station | Aston Martin | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
