Intermittent "ADS OFF" yellow warning triangle
Discussion
Just in the last couple of days, a yellow triangle warning has begun popping up and the words say "ADS OFF". ADS appears to be the Adaptive Damping System. There is no discernable change in the suspension feel of the car and after a minute or two the message disappears.
The car is a 2015 DB9 with about 14k miles; I acquired it only a few weeks ago and have only put on about 250 miles so far. The battery was replaced in January 2023 (per previous records) and is fully charged. This issue did not arise when I had a pre-purchase inspection done on the car. I do not have any warranty on the car, intending to perform routine servicing myself.
When the warning is active, the suspension button does not respond (to turn the ADS to sport mode) but comes back alive when the warning goes off.
About the only thing that's been different these last two days is that it is a bit colder than normal here in Houston, about 3 - 4 deg C. both times this occurred. I'll have to see if the issue persists when it gets warmer.
I have searched the forums and there don't appear to be many instances of this being reported, and none where the ultimate resolution has been documented. Does anybody have any ideas on what I should do here?
Thanks in advance!

I had similar recently on a 2011 model.
Car was under warranty so went back to AM.
They switched the variable damper control module which had failed.
In my case, the ride was set in neither the comfort setting or the sports one and just felt harsh when the light came on.
It was intermittent initially, resettable with the ignition, before then giving a permanent warning lamp that wouldn’t cycle out.
They mentioned checking the individual damper units first in case of issues before focusing on the control module.
Good luck with the fix, hope you resolve it.
