Vantage 2019 Sports seats leather quality

I've seen a few of these with dry and thin leather on the front of the seat base where the back of your knees would be. Is this a known issue or just lack of care from previous owners?

No issues on my car but it has been maintained very well. I would suspect lack of proper maintenance/cleaning.

There are many good products out there. I have had luck with the Geist products.
