I am considering fitting a set of Vantage Sport Pack 19 inch, 5 spoke wheels to my 2007 Vantage coupe.
These are the double spoke wheels that came with the factory Sport Pack around 2008 to 2011
Can anyone please confirm what width of tyres these came with (235 or 245 on front, 275 or 285 rear)?
Thanks in advance.

Have you found a set? They are very difficult to obtain.
It has been suggested to avoid the diamond cut version, because they can only be restored a very limited number of times.

I might be wrong, but thought the dimensions are the same as standard wheels, if so, tyres should also be the same.

I have sports pack wheels as described. I run 235/275 combination. That’s standard.

If you havent already found a set I have a set of 10 spoke vantage s lightweight wheels finished in anthracite. They have 245 wide on the front and 285 wide on the rears.

Earlier cars came with 8.5J 235mm fronts and 9.5J 275mm rears.
With the Vantage S and generally around 2012 they changed to 8.5J 245mm fronts and 10J 285mm rears.

If you want to sure just check rear wheel width. However many have been running 245/285 on earlier wheel for years without issue.

All the diamond cut rims gradually develop the discolouration of white wheel worm as water gets under the lacquer at the sharp edges.

I had my 10 spoke lightweight MY2010 wheels re done in Shadow chrome without diamond cut faces. They look lovely, I prefer them to original finish even though they look quite OEM. They should last much longer than a diamond cut finish.

Hi Gareth,

I have 235/275 on mine. Easier tyres to get hold of as well.

Thanks all for the helpful feedback.
Sounds like I have the option to go up a tyre size, which on the basis of a recent check on Blackcircles, could actually be cheaper.
Is there any reason why I can’t mix Michelin PS4 and PS4S front and back as long as I keep them the same across an axle?
Same question if was to mix PS4 and PS5 front and back but obviously the same across an axle?
Thanks again

I know at least one PH'er who has exactly the PS4/PS4S combination. Standing by the car there is no obvious differences and, on a short drive, I couldn't tell.

I'm no expert but I would guess that the more "touring" PS4 on the front would, on the limit, make the car understeer more. But at normal speed the steering feel was fine - I have contemplated this combination in the past.

If you want the Michelins another option is to go up to 255/45 Z19 on the front, which you can get in PS4S. But then you're fitting a non-recommended size

Hi Buster73, they are the same wheels as drac posted. I am struggling to upload a picture but will give it a go.

Thanks

I was thinking of doing exactly this to my old wheels of this type that are currently sitting redundant in a very corroded state. Yours look fantastic Drac. Do you have a paint code for that particular version of "shadow chrome"?
