Seems this topic has not been covered in a while, and keen to see how these clutches are lasting.

Anyone share at what miles they have had to replace theirs, and approx cost?

Mine is at 20k (has it from 15k miles) and seems to be going strong still. So now I am sure it will slip as I pull it out of the garage next biggrin

The V12S has SS3, I believe they are twin plate too.

Well I'm at 18k miles on mine, purchased at 14k miles earlier this year and hope it lasts well past 40k miles smile

I've not heard of low mileage failures on the twin plate clutch, it is after all the upgrade clutch that the majority fit to the V8.

I do hope it lasts 40k as well. I would say not that many V12VS at that millage to confirm though?

Exactly, I assume not many are daily drivers smile

Im probably doing 4-5k miles a year in mine, but not much use over the winter months.

I'm at 19k now and the clutch had hardly any wear on it when it was serviced this year..

I avoid as much as possible any conditions that might induce slip...

It’ll depend on the type of use too. When mine gets out of London I’m changing gear nowhere near as much as I am trudging through slow moving London traffic. More shifts = more wear, I guess.

2017 , mine has done 64,000km, no issues with clutch so far - did just replace the battery though after it being outside at a friends house in almost zero temperatures for 3 nights

My 2014 V12VS is at 30k miles. No clutch issues and lots of brake pads left. I replaced the battery after 9 years as a precaution, plus a new hand brake cable as it was corroding. No other issues fortunately, apart from misting lights replaced in the first year under warranty.

Well in this small sample, it does bode well that they are lasting over 30/40k miles driving
