That's a handsome car.
... there are 5 zagato volantes for sale!
That's crazy, why does nobody want them?!

Perhaps it is due to the expected reaction from our wives, when attempting to justify the purchase.
"I bought this lovely Zagato darling, for [mumbles quietly] half a million Pounds and hope to drive it 30 miles occasionally, but only on fine summer days."
"You've done what?"

It is quite a chunk tied up into a car if you're not going to use it that's for sure! This indicates to me that they haven't lived up to the expectations of the owners; aren't they fundamentally the same as the vanquish underneath?
Out of all the variants I would love a LHD vanquish shooting break, you could go touring around Europe continuously for weeks! The car would probably halve in value in the process but what an experience that would be. I wonder how the driving dynamics change with all that weight up top though.

Hi this is my vanquish s had it from new, but never had a chance to really use it I keep on looking at the dbss and feel I may use it more as the vanquish is super loud , would I regret it as the car is pristine as I had it fully ppf when I purchased it
Kersh, if it is too loud you can install a switchable valve controller to better moderate the noise however you need to be careful because I've heard stories that keeping valves closed for prolonged periods can cause the secondary cats to overheat.DBSS is a beautiful car, why not approach an AM dealer and trade yours in against it?

Afaik, the Vanquish S does not have secondary cats installed from factory.I would recommend picking up the CC Charger exhaust remote and giving the Vanq another summer. You may find it changes the use proposition entirely.
I have the two way remote fitted on my V12VS with secondary decat and it’s transformative. Fully open for biblical noise on the right stretch of road, of fully closed stealth mode for town and villages. It really is very civilised with the valves fully closed and whisper quiet on a motorway cruise.
