Db11 v8 bonnet vents

Hi all, Got a new to me db11 and have ordered parts to replace the bonnet vents as one has some of its black enamel. Looks like they just unbolt from below however how do you remove the under bonnet insulation felt and does it break the fixings?

Not sure if you can't just lever the shield out of the way to get to the bolts.

This is what I did on my previous Vantage when replacing the bonnet vents, simple job.

Thanks but doesn’t look like it as the insulation is both sides of the vents, can access only one or two bolts

Did anyone ever find out how to remove these plastic fixings? I'd like to respray my grills too. They are smooth and domed so can't see how they are rotated out. Just pulled? Special tool? Id rather not break them.

As an aside, is there anything more hateful than plastic retaining clips/buttons/pegs used on cars and auto wiring looms? Thousands of different types and I can never open any of the gits.
