V8 Vantage respray

Owned my Vantage 9 years now, 2006 car 2007 MY in meteorite silver, usual bubbling on doors etc, few chips here and there and some nasty blemishes from bird poo during lockdown… I’m thinking of a full respray, cars off road so can’t drive it for an assessment/quote.. any of you guys know what I’m likely to pay for a full good quality respray?

Glass out
Full strip
Bare metal
Door shuts

Paint and materials will run to £1000-1500

Labour as above will all depend on what you want. Remember you pay for quality.
Always be wary of a body shop that can get you in at short notice, anywhere who are good will be booked for months.

But back to the basic question, minor repairs and mask everything up, around £5k

Strip and build budget £3k on top

Bare metal budget £4k on top

Depending on what is found under the crusty bits, you could easily be in to £15-£20k

I got nearly a full respray done by precision paint in wellington. I have bonnet, both wings, front bumper, rear bumper and sides done but not tailgate and roof and not a colour change.

Pat there is amazing so you could do worse than asking him. He is currently doing a full strip down and respray on a 2008 ish vantage at the moment, again not a colour change but full respray.

My bill included new bumpers etc but I reckon around £4k for paint bits.
