Steering angle calibration
Discussion
Hello all,
I am almost done with my restoration of my submarine DB9. I have all systems running but one. And here is where I need advice.
On the steering colomn is a magnetic ring that must be calibrated for a bunch of other systems to work properly. ABS, brakes, anti-skating, etc...
All take info based on the correctness of the steering angle calibration.
On a lot of cars. This can be calibrated just by turning the steering wheel left to right.
On an Aston Martin DB9, you need to do this using a computer. This means getting a second mortgage on your house to make a visit to your local friendly AML dealership...
Does anyone have another solution to calibrate the steering angle on a 2009 DB9?
Thanks for your input.
Francis
