They are bringing back the AMR range / model name?

I thought that had been discarded some time ago...

love new AM models etc, but just have a little hard time seeing the purpose, if you want more sport then go vantage. Do people really want a more hard edge DB12, with some useless extra horsepower and stiffer dampening + body kit ? not me.

Now.... if they took the bentley route, and this was a 5.2 V12, but fully tuned as a GT, not harder, more track focused etc. I'd be very tempted if they don't make it look like a racing body kit and spoil the lines. Frankly they should make as many v12s as they can while they legally are able too.

what I'd actually finance is as v12 vantage roadster with a manual, but they will simply never happen. Even if they did it'd be 1mil or something and essentially a race spec. They should learn from porsche and do a 911 R/ gt3 touring manual sort of thing without being just over the top track focused.

Not sure about the exotic exhaust configuration, but besides of this, I like it a lot.

In fact, to my eyes, it looks much better than the Vanquish, combining the beautiful lines of the DB12 with some DBS design vibes.

After driving the Vantage and the DB12, I wished AM would offer a more sportier DB12.
I have a DB12 on order, but would certainly prefer the AMR, depending how much pricier it will be.
Need to talk to my dealership.

I presume logic suggests, that if a V12 DB12 was available, then it would take some sales away from the more profitable Vanquish.

I’m sure I’ve seen a picture of a camouflaged DBX with a similar exhaust set up too. Seems a bit odd to me for AML to bring back the AMR brand now. Not sure I’m that keen on the exhaust pipe configuration though. Just reminds me of a Ferrari California or a Lexus IS 500. But nevertheless it’s good news to see higher performance versions of the core models in development. Well done AML.

From the video that sounds like a V8 to me
