Just heard the US and UK have reached a trade deal?

Assuming it is fair trade, hopefully this helps Aston.

Apparently so, however, at this time the details are scarce.

Trump is about to talk about it - but does seem the UK has managed to do a deal.

Up to 100,000 UK made cars at a 10% tariff. They've done well tbh.

But that's still 10% more than before. Not to mention that who knows what they really agreed to (even the people involved might not know), if the math even adds up, and how long before you-know-who changes his mind and breaks yet another agreement. Then there's the fact that the economy is going to get torched, so the number of people that can, or will want to, spend money on these kinds of things is likely to be noticeably smaller.

On the bright side, a good alien invasion will solve most of these problems. So there's hope. smile

Originally no tariff.
Announce a 25% tariff.
Agree to reduce the tariff to 10%.
Del Boy would refer to that as, "Cushty".

Did you notice during the announcement, our Prime Minister repeated, a huge number of times, "Erm".
It also occurred during the latter part of his announcement at JLR.
This is new. He is clearly anxious about something. What could that be?
