Low Mileage 2006 V8V - Mathewson's Auctions
Discussion
My vibes tell me that is a beauty.
Well cared for and lightly used. If each drive was minimum 25 miles (but few people will know), then low mileage is good.
Would be a brilliant buy for someone and V8Vs don't seem to reach high prices at Mathewsons.
Someone who leaves the last tax disc on display, was likely a very careful owner, paying attention to detail.
A manual too, when many of that period were SportShifts.

Less than 800 miles a year, what a waste.
Guilty as charged.
I always intend to use mine more, but it often seems to end up at only 1,000 miles pa.
At least our Aston Martins look like works of art, so am able to appreciate the beautiful shape, when it is resting.
If it were a generic SUV, I couldn't offer that same excuse.
When there are no trips for a couple of months, I do ensure a minimum 25 miles drive to keep all the mechanicals happy.
After 14 years, there have been no detrimental effects of light use.
This is going through the auction today.

Reckon it will be in about an hour or so it's lot number 500.
Already got a bid of £30k on it.

Mathewson's used to have a good crowd in there for the auctions. Now it just seems to be a few members of staff on phones.
It is rather like the remote (home) working, which began in a large way during the pandemic, then many employees continued in that way.
Mathewsons had to use phone and internet during the pandemic and must have realised that it suited them.
The crowds turning up at the village hall became overwhelming in the end, with some people even trying to bid from outside through open windows.
As was deserved, that 4.3 V8V achieved a good price.
